Fresh kelp reaches Kelpak’s 6,000 m² facility on the same day it is harvested. It is sorted, washed and processed within hours, helping to preserve the natural properties of its components. The tough cell walls of Ecklonia maxima are ruptured not by heat or chemicals, but by rapid changes in pressure. This releases the kelp’s active compounds while preserving their natural activity.
